As soon as we saw the book we wanted one, and it was so easy to order from the online bookstore. It brought our long-lost New Zealand family back home to England.

Adrian revived my memories and let me wander freely and took responsibility for structure. It was an enjoyable experience which I would have rejected as too much trouble to do on my own. My grandchildren enjoy stories of the old days, as I did with my brothers and sisters. Sadly we didn't write down what our parents had to say so I want to avoid similar regrets for my children and grandchildren.

It was very well read at my Father’s funeral. A great tribute and a wonderful memorial for all of us. I’m so glad I got on to it before he faded. We’re looking forward to seeing what Adrian makes of Mum’s documents.

Adrian did a great job turning Dad’s old tapes and diaries of his war stories into a book of his whole life. Dad would have liked it.
