The idea for Memories to Memoirs was seeded in 2001 when Adrian Holland, realising his own family stories were slipping away, recognised the value of recording them for future generations. He started producing books on those he loves, and they were received with delight by other family members.

Since then we have developed Memories to Memoirs into a unique service to preserve your personal stories. Using interviews, recordings and documentation, Adrian’s biographies not only capture the spirit of the individual, but weave their story into the history of their time. The result is a priceless documentation of a personal and social history which we present beautifully in a coffee-table book protected by a wood and perspex showcase.

Adrian, who has a degree in history and is a former journalist and public relations analyst, conducts the interviews, writes the biographies and speaks on family history. Our support team provides services in genealogical research, editing, transcription, design and publishing.

Adrian and his team are members of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists.

Our staff have a passion for the work. Most are women over 70, applying a life-time's experience. We all have copies of our own family histories, so as a team we have a keen understanding of what you need.

Because every book is unique, we adapt to your needs. There's only one family in the world like yours.

We help you memorialise the lives of your nearest and dearest so they are never fogotten.

Let us capture your memories before they slip away.
